OHP Now Covers Me!

All children and teens in the state should have access to health care, even those who are not legal residents.OHP NOW COVERS ME!

This statement above is believed by Oregon. As a result, they’ve come up with “OHP Now Covers Me!” program that can provide health care, with no charge, to children and teens under age 19 (including pregnant teens) regardless of immigration status.

It is a program funded entirely by the state that can provide physical, dental, vision, prescriptions, labs, hospital care and behavioral health care to children and teens living in Oregon households with income level up to and including 305 percent of the Federal Poverty Level.

As an illegal resident, is my personal information safe?

Yes. Any individual’s information will not be turned over to the federal government or immigration by the state of Oregon.

How can we sign up for this program (OHP Now Covers Me!)?

If you have a child who is eligible for this program, you should sign up through the Oregon Health Plan. Help is free and you can reach it online or by phone 800-699-9075 or 711. You may access OHP application and enrollment assistance at any OHP partner, regardless of where you reside.

When does OHP Now Covers Me! start?

The program was started in January 1, 2018 by the Oregon Health Authority. Beginning March 5, participants will be getting health care through the Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) in their area that administers OHP. CCOs will help you in getting your providers, medications and other health care services.
