Importance of ACA – Jimmy Kimmel broke down last night about his baby son Billy who was born with a heart disease. He gave a good point how Affordable Care Act (ACA) really affects everybody whether you’re rich or poor. He said “If your baby is going to die, and it doesn’t have to, it shouldn’t matter how much money you make”.
Before 2014, if you have a pre-existing condition of any kind, it was almost impossible if not impossible to buy health insurance. Insurance carriers can deny you to enroll on health insurance. They can even charge you a very high premium because of your pre-existing condition.
