Check Your Medications | Medicare Open Enrollment

Your set of medications is one big factor when choosing the right health coverage. Health Plans in Oregon offers a no-cost assessment in order to come up with the best plan that suits you.

Check your medications first!

When comparing Medicare Advantage or Prescription drug plans look carefully at which prescription drugs are covered by each plan. You can view which medications are covered by checking each plan’s formulary. Even if the prescriptions you require are covered by a plan there may still be restrictions to consider such as prior authorization requirements or quantity limits. Keep in mind many plans have adopted a network pharmacy benefit. With a network pharmacy benefit, some pharmacies will be included in your plan’s network while others will be out-of-network and therefore more expensive.
