Medicare Advantage covers what Original Medicare covers, embedded prescription drug plan and may offer more benefits such as dental, vision, wellness benefits, 24-hour nurse helpline, hearing aids, and more. Medicare Part A and Part B cover medical and hospital bills and both have deductibles.

This is the time of the year when you need to review if your Medicare insurance plan went up on premium, deductibles, co-pays, or co-insurance. You can do this in a few ways. You can change or enroll in a new Medicare Advantage plan or by joining a new stand-alone Medicare prescription drug plan (PDP). Moreover, you can also go back to Original Medicare with or without a stand-alone Part D plan from a Medicare Advantage plan during this time.
