As the novel coronavirus (now commonly known as COVID-19) continues its spread across the United States, you may be worried about the high costs of testing and treatment. We are now facing a pandemic situation and as the death toll continues to rise, we are here to share all the information you may need about your Healthcare Coverage and COVID-19.
First and foremost, we all know that the Annual Open Enrollment Period (Nov. 1 to Dec 15) is now over, but you can still sign up for health insurance through the Health Insurance Marketplace. People with Qualifying Life Events (QLE) can take advantage of the Special Enrollment Period. You usually have up to 60 days following the event to enroll in a plan.
During these tough times, we know that most people have questions about their Healthcare Coverage and COVID-19. Some of you may be facing a loss of income or coverage, or employers facing possible closures or downsizing. Below is a flyer that you may find helpful.
